Across the Northern Hemisphere
The red fox is the largest of the true foxes and the most widely distributed member of the order Carnivora, found across the Northern Hemisphere. Despite its name it often produces other colourings, including leucistic and melanistic animals. Forty-five subspecies are recognised. It is agile, able to jump fences over 2m high, and swims well (Wikipedia, general species account).
It usually lives in pairs or small family groups, and the young of a mated pair may stay to help raise the next litter. It feeds primarily on small rodents but also takes rabbits, squirrels, game birds, reptiles, invertebrates, young hoofed animals, fruit and vegetables. The sources opened give nothing specific about the red fox in Bhutan.
