Corvus splendens
Diet
Largely refuse around human habitations; also small reptiles and mammals, insects, eggs, nestlings, grain and fruit
Habitat
Stick nests, sometimes several in one tree
Clutch size
3–5 eggs
Size
40cm
The house crow is 40cm long, between the jackdaw and the carrion crow in size but slimmer than either. It feeds largely on refuse around human habitations, small reptiles and mammals, insects and other small invertebrates, eggs, nestlings, grain and fruit (Wikipedia, general species account).
It lays three to five eggs in a typical stick nest, and occasionally there are several nests in the same tree. The only source read for the Bhutan guide gives these details. No plumage or range information was found, so none is stated, and its occurrence in Bhutan is flagged for checking.
