The hair-crested drongo is an Asian bird that was formerly considered the same species as the spangled drongo of Australia. It is native from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Bhutan through Indochina to China, Indonesia and Brunei. Hair-crested drongos move in small flocks and are very noisy (Wikipedia, general species account).
Some authorities include the Sumatran drongo as a subspecies. The short source read gives no size, plumage, diet or breeding detail, so none is stated, and the entry is kept short.
