Range
Eastern Himalayas and Southeast Asia from northern Burma to southern Cambodia
The white-browed shrike-babbler is found in the eastern Himalayas and Southeast Asia from northern Burma to southern Cambodia, and like others in the genus is found in montane forests. It is sexually dimorphic, with variation across its range and several populations treated as subspecies (Wikipedia, general species account).
It is part of a cryptic species complex and in general appearance is very similar to the Himalayan shrike-babbler, but all subspecies except validirostris have the males' tertials partly rufous and partly fulvous. It was earlier called Tickell's shrike-tit. The source read does not name Bhutan, and gives no size, diet or breeding information.
