Diet
Adults eat invertebrates, small mammals and birds
Range
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan; possibly Bhutan and China, though uncertain
The Indian bullfrog is a large fork-tongued frog of South and Southeast Asia, normally green or brown with dark spots, often with a yellow streak along the spine. Males turn yellow during the breeding season. Colour and size vary considerably between populations, even geographically close ones, and males have nuptial pads on the first finger and a pair of blue vocal sacs on the sides of the throat (Wikipedia, general species account).
It is native to mainland Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan, and possibly Bhutan and China, though its presence in those two countries is uncertain. Adults eat invertebrates, small mammals and birds. It lays many eggs at once, although many tadpoles die before reaching adulthood.
