The Himalayan buzzard is a medium to large bird of prey, formerly considered a subspecies of the common buzzard. It is native to the Himalayas in Nepal, India and adjacent mountains of southern China. It was formerly given the scientific name Buteo burmanicus, but that name had already been applied to a migratory mainland Asian form of the eastern buzzard, so the Himalayan bird was renamed Buteo refectus (Wikipedia, general species account).

The short source read does not name Bhutan, and gives no size, plumage, diet or breeding detail, so none is stated.
