The Himalayan bluetail, also called the Himalayan red-flanked or orange-flanked bush-robin, is a small passerine formerly classed in the thrush family but now more generally considered an Old World flycatcher (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is closely related to the red-flanked bluetail and was generally treated as a subspecies of it in the past. It differs in its migratory behaviour, as the red-flanked bluetail is a long-distance migrant, and in the more intense blue of adult males and the greyer colour of females and juveniles. The source read gives no range, habitat, size, diet or breeding information, so none is stated.
