The Indian peafowl is among the heaviest members of its family. The male's bill-to-tail length averages 100 to 120cm and reaches 200 to 230cm to the end of a full train, and he weighs 4.1 to 5.2kg. The female, or peahen, is smaller at about 97cm and 2.7 to 4.1kg (Wikipedia, general species account).
The sources opened give only these sizes for the species, with nothing on its range within Bhutan, diet or breeding, so none of that is stated. Its inclusion in the Bhutan guide is flagged for checking, since it is mainly a bird of the Indian plains.
